Not changing your Shopit profile to express your personality is like showing up to the Grammys wearing the same thing as Paula Abdul. Not cool.
Okay Shopit users, it’s time to grab your bootstraps and get your Shopit profile into shape. If you haven’t done it yet because you think it’s going to be difficult- well it’s not, and I’m gonna make it even easier for you! One of the best ways of making your store stand out to shoppers is to personalize your store’s profile.
If you select My Shopit from the header, you can then find Edit Profile on the left hand column. Here, you can find all of the areas for enhancing your profile.
If you select the Style tab, you will see all of the different section where you may change the color and style of your store’s profile. Don’t be afraid to try different combinations. You will also notice the ADVANCED section. This is one place where HTML and CSS codes are accepted. (this gets kinda techy, so we will get into that on another blog)
Select the CONTENT tab and you’ll be in the section where you can tell users about you and your store. HTML codes are accepted in the last two modules. You may change the titles of each module, and if you’re not using any of the modules, you may choose to deactivate the module by deselecting the Active check box in the upper corner of each module.
Now select the IMAGES tab. You can upload several images for users to view while looking through your store. The Default image will be the image that will appear on your profile. These are not necessarily product images, but can be if you like.
Make sure to take the time to enhance your profile to give your store that unique personalized look that best reflects you and your stuff! When you’re done jazzing up your store, give us a shout! We’d love to feature it!
