So we’ve been around for a quite a while now…blogging to you…blogging about you. And suddenly we’ve realized… you don’t know very much about us! ‘Us’ as people, the many of us as individuals that make up this group called Shopit. So we’re getting a little more up close! ( while still maintaining your personal space of course) Now you can see, literally, who we are; The Shopit Team!
What better way to kick off the introduction than with our leader, our chief, our captain, the head honcho, the big cheese, heavy hitter, or as we know him, really just one of the guys! - Matt Hill. Matt is our CEO and founder of Shopit.
After graduating from Boston College, Matt Hill has been at the vanguard of Internet marketing beginning in the late 1990’s. He was one of the original founding investors and employees of Shopping.com which was sold in 1999 to Compaq for $220 Million. Since then, he has invested in and or been involved in early stages of companies like Reunion.com, Demand Media, and Consumer Direct… and some really fun ventures, serving as Chairman of SuperNation, LLC, an online gaming community that was sold to Intermix Media in 2003. Matt has participated in countless ventures and acts as chairman for more internet companies than I have time to name. Let’s just say he’s active in the tech community!
Matt recently just had his first child with his wife Alle; a beautiful baby girl named Berlin. And soon enough, he’s got a second on the way! (not sure if this statement has been approved 
) Congratulations! The Hill family is completed by their other two little ones, specifically the hairy ones; Woody and Fletcher, who have spent many a day working hard at Shopit headquarters.
So there he is in a nutshell…Matt Hill our fearless leader.
